b. adorable!

Step 1. Start by prepping the hair with a root volumizer- I LOVE Bumble and bumble pret a powder.

Work into roots with finger tips to really get good lift!  Bumble-Pret-a-Powder

****if you want added volume, tease hair with a teasing comb to desired height ****

Step 2. Divide hair into 3 sections, secure into pony tails.

Step 3. Curl each ponytail and pin, or for a measured look, twist pieces of ponytail and pin.  Jeweled bobby pins will dress up your look too.

***this is a super easy, cute look to do when you are on the go, or have to go from day to night.***

Throw on a pretty necklace, and a bold lip, you’re ready to party!****

b. knotty or b. nice

Nothing works better on second day hair than a low messy knot. This looks nice with your LBD and heels or can be naughty with jeans and a tee on the weekend……

Things You Need:

Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finish

Elastic hair tie

Bobby pins

Gather hair centered or to the side…..whatever strikes your fancy! Use elastic hair tie and create a ponytail, pulling the hair only half way thru the elastic on the last loop. Take bobby pins and secure knot. Tousle loose pieces for a softer look!

b. creative with your pony

Its one of those days when you need to look cute, but you just don’t have the time! Opt for a fun twist on the ponytail. Whether you want it loose and low or high and tight-this look will still turn heads!

Things You Need:

Bumble and Bumble Dryspun Finish

Elastic hair tie

Teasing comb

Bobby pins

Bumble and Bumble Spray de Mode Hairspray

Cute hairband (optional)

Start by spraying Dryspun into sections of hair-from root to ends. Tease crown area for added volume. Gather hair into your choice of high or low ponytail and secure with elastic hair tie. Take a small section of hair from ponytail. Slightly tease this piece and smooth down. Wrap the small section around the base of the ponytail. Use bobby pin to secure this piece in place. Use Dryspun in ponytail to give ponytail extra fluff! Last, use Spray de Mode to finish look. To dress this look up, add a cute hairband.

Today I want to share one of my favorite pony tricks with you guys. This is not only great for keeping your hair off your neck but also for making your workout ponytail look fuller and way more stylish. You’re obviously going to be focused more on your workout than your hair but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t look great while doing it. If you notice, the photo up top shows a much more pumped up pony. That’s because there are 3 ponytail holders stacked up. You might think that sounds painful but it’s not. Only the first gets pulled tight (which is what you would normally do). Then you use 2 more ponytail holders by stacking them behind that one. The best part about doing this is it keeps your hair off your neck! I don’t know about you but there’s nothing worse than sweaty wet hair laying against your neck. I also feel like it makes your neck look longer and accentuates your jaw line. Try this the next time you go to the gym or train for your marathon. You might find that it helps to keep you feeling and looking cooler!
